As is gets
colder outside, the only things we want to do right now is to stay inside and
make it nice and cozy, while we drink a hot cup of chocolate or tea. Looking
for inspiration to make this dream come true? Here is an idea:
The little fellow with his red hat has a long tradition in the Nordic countries. He is called a ‘NISSE’ and he used to live under the ceiling at the farmers house. Each year at Christmas time it was the habit of giving him a nice meal in form of a sweet Rice-Porridge with melting butter. If the farmer’s family forgot to do so, they could expect a lots of trouble the coming year and a pure harvest. Since then he got a nice looking wife and most ‘Nisse’-Families got children too. A ‘Nisse’ can easily get more than 253 years old. So it is a nice story to tell and old tradition too.
